Picking the right school for your child can be one of the most exciting yet stressful times for a parent, especially parents of young children. Your little one holds so much promise and you want to be sure that the school he or she attends meets every need.
The good news is that Saint Paul Public Schools offers a world of opportunities, many of them in your backyard. We’ve worked hard over the past three years to redesign our district to ensure that every child in every school has outstanding options for learning. From top-notch school leaders to bus transportation closer to home, from more Pre-K classes to multiple options for accelerated learning, Saint Paul Public Schools offers something for everyone.
Please read this booklet, but better yet, make an appointment to visit the schools you’re considering. No one knows your child better than you, and a school visit will tell you right away if this is a place your child will thrive.
If a visit isn’t possible, be sure to take the time to visit apply.spps.org, and also speak with the professionals at our Student Placement Center. They can answer all your questions. We want to be sure you have all the information you need to find the right school for your child.
