The mile-long path visits 31 unique tress, all marked, including a beautiful catalpa, a mighty white oak, and a colorful eastern redbud. Initially proposed to the City of Saint Paul and The University of Minnesota’s Urban Forestry Department by Steve Trimble, the Mounds Park Tree Trek has become a popular recreational and educational activity.
