MCM are granting over $130,000 in this round (there may be another round in February/March), so there is a lot of opportunity!

We are reaching out about a grant opportunity for organizations interested in census engagement. We are helping to share this opportunity from the Minnesota Council of Nonprofits (MCN). MCN is offering grants up to $5,000 to do census education and mobilization work in Minnesota.

Nonprofits have a critical role to promote community participation and build power. The census is about equity and inclusion and making sure that there is fair political representation and distribution of resources. We are all stronger when our democracy is strong. We are all stronger when communities are using their voices and power to help shape and change the systems that impact them every day – especially communities that have been historically disenfranchised.

Visit MCN’s census webpage for more information on our grants, what you can do, and why the census is so important! Please consider applying and spread the word to partner organizations!
