Families are invited to join us at Maker Break: Exploring West Africa at George Latimer Central Library (90 W 4th St) on Friday, December 27, 3-4:30 p.m.
Go on a whirlwind tour of West Africa through drumming, dance, and storytelling. Listen to stories about Anansi the Spider, the great trickster. Then learn African drumming and dance patterns. Bring it all together and perform an Anansi Tale complete with music and dance.
