East 7th Street Redesign

Did you know that MNDOT is redesigning East 7th Street and Arcade Street to improve safety and accessibility? The Dayton’s Bluff District 4 Community Council wants to give one last opportunity to let us know what you’re thinking about this project!

The project includes: road repaving, sidewalk repairs, sidewalk curb ramps and driveway replacements, safety and ADA accessibility improvements, traffic signal and pedestrian lighting improvements, bus stop improvements, landscaping, and stormwater management improvement.

On East 7th between Mounds Boulevard and Minnehaha Avenue, MNDOT has two options under consideration. Both options include the current four driving lanes being reduced to three. But, one option includes wider parking lanes and the other option includes bike lanes.

Housing Survey for the East Side

Please consider taking 8-10 minutes to fill out this survey about multigenerational housing. Help developers understand what it is and why it’s important – this may bring an affordable complex to the East Side of St. Paul (you do not need to be a resident of the East Side). Plus, you can be entered to win a $50 Cub Food gift card. Please share widely!

NOTE: This is NOT sponsored by Dayton’s Bluff Community Council.
