Community testing sites/events are offered by Saint Paul – Ramsey County Public Health, and the Minnesota Department of Health, in partnership with local community organizations to provide safe and free COVID-19 testing.

What to expect at community testing sites:

  • Testing by appointment only.
  • Open to everyone.
  • Free, no insurance needed.
  • Symptoms or no symptoms.
  • Drive-thru or walk-thru.
  • No ID required.
  • Interpreters available onsite.

Waiting for test results:

  • Follow these instructions: What to do while you are waiting for your results (PDF)
  • You should get your results back in three days. Sometimes there are delays. 
  • If you have not received your results, check your junk/spam folder for an email from PrimaryBio/MDH.  
  • If it has been more than three days and you have not received your results, call 1-855-612-0677.

Test results:

  • If your test is negative: You will receive a text and email about your results.
  • If your test is positive: You will receive a phone call from a nurse and a contact tracer. Please make sure to answer your phone.
  • The results of your test are not shared with anyone outside of your public health department.
