REMINDER TO USE YOUR 2019 BULKY-ITEM PICK UPS BY THE END OF THE YEAR! If your home is included in the city organized trash program, your hauler will pick up “bulky items” directly from your alley as part of the trash hauling program.
“Bulky” items are items that are too large to fit or are not allowed inside your garbage cart, such as furniture, appliances, and electronics.*Property owners must call their hauler to request to have bulky items collected from their household. Haulers will set up a date for pick up in a different truck or vehicle. Tenants should contact their landlord if they need to dispose of a bulky item.Depending on your cart size, you have 2 bulky items (small 35-gallon cart) or 3 bulky items (medium 64-gallon or large 96-gallon cart) than can be collected each calendar year at no additional cost. (If you need to get rid of more items, you can pay your hauler a reduced rate per bulky item to have additional items collected.) *Bulky items do not include construction and demolition material. Please contact an appropriate disposal company to remove construction and demolition material from your property.
