Meet Our New Interim Executive Director

The Dayton’s Bluff Community Council is pleased to announce that Carrie Obry has been appointed Interim Executive Director.

A Dayton’s Bluff resident since 2012, Carrie brings 14 years of nonprofit leadership experience to the role, along with a deep appreciation for the neighborhood and a long-standing commitment to its success. She has served on the Council’s Board of Directors, most recently as Treasurer, and will be stepping down from that position to assume the role of Interim Executive Director.

Carrie’s primary focus will be rebuilding and strengthening the organization following a period without executive leadership. Working closely with the Board of Directors and community partners, she will help establish a strong foundation for the Council’s future while continuing to advance its mission of advocating for the Dayton’s Bluff community.

Carrie’s appointment is expected to last approximately one year while the Council positions itself for long-term success. The Board is excited to welcome her into this leadership role and looks forward to the experience, energy, and dedication she brings to this important transition.

"Dayton's Bluff is a special place and I'm proud to call it home," Carrie said. "Working alongside the board and community partners to build a strong future for the Council will be one of the highlights of my career."
