The Minnesota Pollution Control Agency is holding a public meeting in Minneapolis about our latest initiative to address climate change and reduce air pollution in Minnesota, Clean Cars Minnesota.

The meeting details are:

Thursday, November 14, 2019, from 5-7pm: Urban Research and Outreach-Engagement Center (UROC), 2001 Plymouth Ave N, Minneapolis, MN 55411

The MPCA’s proposed Clean Cars Minnesota rule would mean adopting two clean car standards to reduce greenhouse gas emissions from transportation in our state. Representatives from MPCA will present information about each of the standards with opportunities for questions and discussion and an open house to follow.

MPCA are excited to hear from Minnesotans about this initiative. MPCA meeting in Minneapolis is one of a series of public meetings around the state for residents to learn about the clean car standards, ask questions, and give feedback.

MPCA also have a survey where people can share some of their key priorities with us (link here). MPCA encourages you to fill it out and share it with others. You can learn more, find out how else to share your opinions, and sign up to receive email updates on our website: mn.gov/cleancars.

MPCA staff are also available to attend meetings held by other organizations to share more information about Clean Cars Minnesota, and are happy to schedule additional meetings with anyone who wishes to discuss Clean Cars Minnesota with the agency.  Please feel free to reach out with questions.
