Q. What kind of impact do you want Dayton’s Bluff Community Council to have on you and your community?
A. I would like to bring the community together as whole and make Dayton's Bluff a place of vibrant colors and voices at the discussion table to get things done. I want to work collectively and passionately for the community and really engage and listen to what the community wants.

Q. How will your involvement with DBCC help to engage Dayton’s Bluff residents in your community around issues that are important to them?
A. I will work with DBCC and its surrounding communities along with my sub-district council members and engage in monthly meetings. I will ask the community to voice their concerns, work on a action plan and follow up on it. I will hold myself accountable and be responsible for my work. I will be inclusive, open and transparent. I will also hold the community accountable to help guide me on issues that I may need more understanding so that I can better serve them. I will respectful of all cultures and languages and learn from them to broaden my sense of how we can come to together. I will work hard and relentlessly to serve my community

Q. What is your favorite East Side business?

A. I am a foodie person and I love, love, love food. To be honest, some of my favorite food comes from the little Latino/Karen/Hmong grocery stores.

Q. What kind of impact do you want Dayton’s Bluff Community Council to have on you and your community?
A. I would like more American Indian families to become involved in the Council and share their needs and concerns. I would also like to see more residents, especially people of color, become entrepreneurs in our neighborhood. I hope all residents will feel welcome to attend the DBCC meetings and express their opinions, concerns and ideas.

Q. How will your involvement with DBCC help to engage Dayton’s Bluff residents in your community around issues that are important to them?
A. Now that the board better reflects the demographics of the community, I believe they will become more involved and will feel very welcome to share the issues that are important to them. I would like to find out what issues the residents have by meeting more residents, talking with them, conducting surveys, and inviting them to attend our public meetings and events.

Q. What is your favorite East Side business?
A. My favorite place on the East Side is Metropolitan State University. I encourage many people to attend Metro State because it is very diverse, friendly, and accommodating to all people by having many student organizations and events.
