We have maps and
lists of walking places both indoors and out in our parks as well as
some interesting tours in our neighborhood. Where can you
walk? Who can walk? How can you find a walking partner or
group? If you have questions we can help. Do you want to
talk to someone about where to walk? If you have
questions call us at 651/772-2075 or write Karin@DaytonsBluff.org.

"The Usamacinta River
Meets the
Mississippi" also known as "The Wave." The latter sculpture has
been
temporarily
removed for repairs.
o 3rd St. and Bates – Art object. What have you found?
o Architecture of various styles and eras are all about. If
you are interested perhaps
we can
create a tour.
- The
stone wall found near Wells and Wadena streets.
- Your
local streets/around your block. Invite neighbors to join you!
Here is a great opportunity to reach out to your neighbors to go out
for a walk. Go as a group.
- Your
church congregation or any other community organization to and from
your home to their site – amazing how one’s neighborhood sounds more
alive on foot than in a car. One can hear birds sing, the wind
blow, one’s heartbeat rather than a motor and tires.
Some indoor walking areas are:
- Margaret
Rec. Center, Walking group Tuesdays 5-6pm, with open hours from 3pm-9pm
for activities.
- Dayton’s
Bluff Rec. Center, 793-3885, 10am-noon Seniors walk, 9am-3pm best hours
