| Swede Hollow Park

| The Swede Hollow Park event was attended by 75 people. This neighborhood organized in 1981 as a Block Club and later became a neighborhood association. It has celebrated National Night Out for 15 years. The Moby Jane Band, starring neighborhood resident Dana Younkin, provided entertainment for the second year in a row. Everyone enjoyed the upbeat music played by this band. Fire department and police department representatives, including Commanders Tim Leslie and Tim McNeely, and the mounted patrol were available for questions and discussion. Neighbors shared in a potluck barbeque and played badminton and other games with the children. The Bluffalo made one of his many NNO appearances. He gave out gifts to the children and invited everyone to the upcoming Dayton's Bluff Summer Fest and Children's Parade on August 12. |
