| The 654 and Beech-Margaret block clubs held their gathering at Bethlehem Lutheran Church. 200 people attended. Residents in these neighborhoods started organizing in 1994 and combined their Block Clubs about a year ago. They hold their meetings at Bethlehem Lutheran Church and have celebrated NNO for the last couple of years at the church. The church provided the food. Many church members attended the NNO party. The Block Club hired two clowns from the Saint Paul Powder Puff Clown Club to entertain at this year's event. Members of the Fire Department came with fire trucks and let the children practice using the fire hose. Police department members were on hand to answer questions and visit with the neighbors. |
