This Classical Revival home is one of five similar homes built in the early 1900's by the Estate of PH Kelly. It is located in the heart of the Dayton's Bluff Heritage Preservation District. Community members asked Dayton's Bluff Neighborhood Housing Services to acquire and renovate this abandoned, deteriorating 1906 five-bedroom, 2 bathroom home. It features a built-in buffet, stained glass windows, a second-story bay window and newly refinished wood floors and oak woodwork throughout. DBNHS updated all the mechanicals, put on a new roof, re-insulated the walls, added combination windows, installed window jam liners, added a basement laundry and a freshly painted exterior. The master bed-and-bath suite on the third floor provides a panoramic view of downtown from this historic neighborhood.
