The Portage for Youth were the Grand Marshals of this year's parade and also performed at the Fest The signs show some of the many activities available through the Portage
 
The Dayton's Bluff Children's Garden marched in the parade and had a booth at Summer Fest.
 
Bethlehem Lutheran Church brought their 1938 John Deere tractor to the parade and Summer Fest.
 
The Merrick Community Services Millennium Dance Squad marched in the parade and also performed on stage at Summer Fest.
 
 
There was a whole herd of Dayton's Bluff Bluffaloes in this year's parade.  Above, three of the younger ones. Right, chief Bluffalo Dick Lusk (center) and two of his helpers.  In the truck is their keeper, John Vaughn, who is  also the Dayton's Bluff District 4 Community Organizer.
 
Lori's Angels marched in the parade and recited poetry at Summer Fest.
 
Homemade floats were popular All you needed were a  wagon and some balloons.
 
 
This is the St. Paul Fire Department's original 1905 Steam Pumper with a two horsepower engine.
 
 
 
Trinity Catholic School marched in the parade and shared a booth with Sacred Heart Catholic Church at Summer Fest..
