The Dayton's Bluff Summer Fest
August 8, 1998
Celebrated
"The Garden Where Our Children Grow"
At
Indian Mounds Park

The Scary Guy, "America's only live comic book hero", and The Bluffalo, "Dayton's Bluffs's only live person who wears a buffalo costume in August", pose for a truly  unique photo.  The Scary Guy talks to kids about living a positive life and introduces them to seven pledges about positive lifestyle choices. The Bluffalo does whatever bluffaloes do. The Bluffalo who, disguised as Dick Lusk, mild mannered  Master of Ceremonies for a great metropolitan Summer Fest, did a great job of keeping the festivities moving along smoothly all day.

The always popular Teddy Bear Band was the first act to entertain the children.

The ever vigilant Percussion Frog guarded the Capital City Trolley which shuttled people to and from Holman Field and 1998 Air Power Show.  The Air Power Show  was sponsored by the Southern Minnesota Wing of the Confederate Air Force.
